Charcoal and slate passages form a strong architectural framework across the canvas, interrupted by softened blocks of ivory and pale stone. Expressive brushwork and layered pigment create a surface where structure and gesture exist in balance. Subtle shifts in tone allow the darker framework to emerge against lighter fields, giving the composition both depth and atmosphere. Across Stone Choir I & II, Jacob Lincoln uses abstraction and form to suggest fragments of memory and place.
