1. PLACING ORDERS

Orders can be placed 24/7 through the following channels:

2. PAYMENT
Full payment is required prior to dispatching all orders.
For orders combining stock and indent / non-stocked items, stock items must be fully paid even if they are being held pending arrival of indent / non-stocked items.
Indent / non-stocked items require a 50% deposit to secure an order.
Accepted payment methods:

Payments by Direct Deposit are recognized only upon receipt of funds, not remittance advice. Accepted credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Amex

3. FURNITURE POLISHING

Full payment is required prior to commencement of furniture polishing work. Final payment is due prior to dispatch. All sample finishes must be sent to the Boyd Blue Head Office for accurate matching.

4. DELIVERY

All orders are pro-forma and will only be dispatched upon full payment receipt.

Please allow 24–48 hours post-payment for dispatch process.

Delivery timeframe varies by location and product availability: 
⦁ Stock items: 1–10 business days
⦁ Bulk orders via furniture removalist may require longer lead times.
⦁ All shipments are FOB from our Gold Coast, QLD warehouse. Freight charges are additional and will be included in your invoice.

Boyd Blue determines the most suitable shipping method and carrier.

Orders collected from showrooms or warehouses are still subject to standard delivery charges.

Delivery must be expected and received at an agreed-upon time between recipient and Boyd Blue warehouse.

Failure to accept delivery within this time frame may result in items being returned to the warehouse at the client’s expense and being subjected to re-delivery charges.

5. DAMAGES & SHOTAGES

All items are thoroughly inspected and carefully packed before shipping.

Inspect shipments immediately upon arrival. Any issues must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.

Claims for damage or shortage must be lodged within 24 hours of receipt.

Submit digital photographs of any damaged items and packaging to support your claim.

Delivery and supply issues: 
Call Head Office on 07 5549 0722 to speak to a Customer Care Representative.

Retain all packaging until the claim is resolved.

6. RETURNS / REFUNDS / EXCHANGES

Refunds and exchanges are not available.

Only faulty or damaged items may be returned, subject to Boyd Blue’s discretion and prior authorization.

Many Boyd Blue products are handmade, and natural variations in colour, shape, texture, and grain are considered unique features - not defects.

7. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations or changes can only be made prior to payment.

Orders cancelled after payment will incur a 20% handling fee of the total order value.

No cancellations accepted once orders have been dispatched.

8. PRICING

All prices are subject to change without notice.

9. BACKORDERS

While we strive for complete and prompt deliveries, back orders may occur due to availability.

A 50% deposit is required to secure backordered or indent / non-stocked items. 

Backorders without deposits are not guaranteed.

Customers will be notified when the back-ordered items arrive and must make final payment within 14 days.

Goods can be held for up to 30 days after full payment.

Storage beyond 30 days incurs a fee of $250 + GST per week, payable before dispatch. 

10. LIMITED WARRANTY

Boyd Blue Pty Ltd (“Boyd Blue”) provides a limited warranty against defects for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice.

Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must notify Boyd Blue within the warranty period and provide proof of purchase. The product must be returned to Boyd Blue for inspection and assessment.

Transportation costs associated with returning the item will be borne by Boyd Blue.

Inspection and Rectification
If, upon inspection, the product  is found to be defective but  repairable, Boyd Blue will repair or refurbish the product  to a good and serviceable  condition and return it to the customer at no additional cost.

If the product is assessed as  irreparable, Boyd Blue will  issue a replacement, or if the item is unavailable, a credit  note, at its discretion.

Warranty Processing Time
Boyd Blue will complete the warranty claim process, including transportation, inspection, and rectification (or issuing a replacement or credit), within a reasonable timeframe of receiving the product.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law.

Product Information & Accuracy
We make every effort to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices on this website are accurate. However, we reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.

Product measurements and specifications may vary slightly, and manufacturers or suppliers may update product details without notice to Boyd Blue. We are not liable for any discrepancies caused by such changes or by incorrect information provided to us.

Handcrafted Products
Many Boyd Blue pieces are handcrafted by artisans from around the world. Small variations in shape, surface, texture or finish are inherent to handmade products and should not be regarded as flaws or defects, but as part of the product’s unique character.

Colour Representation
While we aim to display product colours as accurately as possible, actual colours may vary slightly from those shown on the website or in print materials due to screen differences or printing processes.

We may update or change the content, products, services, or these Terms at any time without notice.
