Umbrella features a marine-style pulley and rope system, similar to those used for raising sails, allowing a smooth, low-effort opening and closing operation with a vented top to reduce wind resistance. Body crafted of solid marine-grade teak wood known for its durability, weather resistance, and natural golden brown finish, which over time and exposure to the elements will gracefully change to a silver patina, distinguishing fine aged outdoor teak. The umbrella is complete with a heavy-duty, powder-coated metal base with a slatted teak wood cover and includes optional locking casters for ease of movement. Upholstery requires a special COM fabric that is either awning-grade or furniture-grade acrylic and has a weight of 200 grams per square meter or above.
