Layered and intuitive, this striking diptych feels like an excavation of memory and earth. In Great Summit I and Great Summit II, washes of ochre, clay, and charcoal drift across the surface, punctuated by soft blushes and cool blue veining—like traces shaped by wind, water, and time. Though abstract, their forms speak the language of landscape: the arc of a dune, the striations of bark, the geological contours of a place remembered more than seen. Graphite-like lines and rhythmic textures add a sense of movement and depth, evoking topographical maps or ancient terrain reimagined. This series captures a quiet tension between stillness and motion—where natural forces leave their mark in intuitive, painterly gestures.
