Boyd introduces the Cap Martin Dining Chair in celebration of leadership and creativity. An Ode to the significance of symbolism in furniture design, the Directors Chair, was once upon a time just another piece of furniture on a film set, however as we've acknowledged the importance of the person sitting in this chair, the design has historically created a name for itself becoming more of a symbol of influence and mastery, and thus reflecting in decades of timeless furniture design. With credit to this, we can now visualise the directors chair in our own home, a place where we direct and star in our own performances.
The Cap Martin chair features a solid rattan frame in a grey-wash finish, made to securely support the laminated canvas seat and back rest. The canvas being an intentional design element nodding to the original materials used, however we've laminated the textile for functionality and longevity.
Designed in-house, our Boyd collection offers a range of furniture, rugs, artwork, and decor. Each piece has been hand-crafted with a focus on naturally inspired textures, forms, and materials.
